Habituation Permit

The Gorilla Habituation Experience is 4-hours with the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the Rushaga area of the Park.
As the name suggests, these families are in the process of becoming used to humans and you are now a part of it!
The habituation period takes approximately 2 years.
This experience is only offered in Bwindi’s Southern Sector in Uganda.

"Experience Kigezi" is one of our partner organisations, community developed and funded entirely by people, like you, who are interesting in exploring the area.
It includes transport to and from Kisoro and a glorious 4 hours riding through the scenic hills of south western Uganda.
Your guide is a local Ugandan who is very passionate about biking!
